A fun entry from Peter Phun Black Star Rising. He lists 21 signs that mean you have crossed over into the hallowed ground of serious photographer. Many of these are so true, most have happened to me - have they happened to you?

Strictly No Photography


A site dedicated to photographs taken in places where photography is not allowed (i.e. Sistine Chapel, Royal Toilet, Government sites, Cirque Du Soleil and lots of no photography signs). Image quality is not always the best; I think most are taken with mobile phones, but worth a look.

The Perfect Technique for Masking Hair


This is a great video by Andre Silva (hosted on the photo tuts+ site. Andre shows how to mask hair and remove it from a solid background. Using CS Andre shows a step by step process for getting great results. Now looking for a photograph to try it on.

28 Examples of Excellent Animal Photography Shots


This site has 28 superb photographs of animals. All are very high quality; with some unusual subjects (I love the one of the ant and snail).

The titles says it all - some awesome shots taken at night. Nuff said.
